Architectural Director


Tom is an Associate Architect with a strong design background and a range of experience in concept, design and delivery working across Bristol, the South West and beyond. He has extensive experience in a wide range of sectors, including leisure and retail, hotel, student accommodation, mixed-use regeneration and residential (greenfield/brownfield).

He has a passion for sensitive and considered innovative design that is commercially viable and has amassed professional experience and understanding of working within the heritage context on Listed Buildings and sensitive Conservation Area sites. Key projects being St Pauls Church extension (Weston-super-Mare), the residential development for 55 dwellings at Cross Farm in Wedmore, the creative re-use of an existing Grade II* factory building in Mamhilad into a usable space for the new community and two significant projects for Bristol Zoo – an art-deco inspired restaurant/events space and a new immersive Bear Wood – the UK’s largest Brown Bear exhibit.

Tom has successfully led a number of our design competition entries including Little Dragon pop-up which featured on the Channel 4 documentary 'Cabins in the Wild with Dick Strawbridge’ and thermal springs guest house extension to Vogafjós Farm Resort, Iceland.
