Simon joined Barton Willmore in 2006 and is a chartered town planner with over twenty years’ experience in the Development Industry.
Simon is a Director within the national Development Economics team and is responsible for the project management and preparation of social, demographic and economic assessments on behalf of public and private sector clients. Assessments are used to evidence and inform planning policy, masterplans, planning applications and appeals.
His experience includes the preparation of population modelling forecasts of large scale urban extensions including Bicester Eco Town, establishing the future demographic profile of the area, and the associated community and employment needs. Simon also has significant experience in the assessment of the need for/ and impact of retail and commercial developments.
Simon is also a Member of the Institute of Economic Development.
