We have been involved with this district shopping centre for a number of years assisting the clients with various strategies to improve the centre’s retail environment. Our recent involvement was to review a key entrance to the shopping centre with the possibility of merging smaller units into a single larger configuration. Various options were explored with the client team, to utilise existing footprint/structure, new build and hybrid variations.
The chosen scheme was a new build scheme that would increase the presence of the entrance with a double height anchor retail store using full height glazing and an entrance feature linking to the main shopping centre entrance vista. Barton Willmore also assisted with a rebranding exercise to assist refresh the current dated brand. Our interventions have been centred around providing high quality design and we continue to support the client to review various elements of the centre to maximise the centre’s retail offer/asset enhancement.
