Our team first secured full planning permission for SEGRO in November 2018 for the erection of an industrial unit (B1c/B2/B8) with ancillary offices. SEGRO had a pre-let agreement in place with Do&Co - an Austrian event and airline catering company. For the full planning permission, they successfully demonstrated very special circumstances for development in the Green Belt. Our Landscape team prepared a Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment and Green Belt Review to support the application alongside our Development Economics team producing an Economic Benefits Infographic.
In April 2019, the team secured a Section 73 planning permission for the insertion of a mezzanine floor resulting in an additional 13,572m² of floorspace. Following this, they secured a second Section 73 planning permission, in November 2019, for external plant and second mezzanine floor for plant and machinery.
