Is Mr Brown right about Housing Numbers?
How do you plan for housing if you have no idea how many houses you are providing for? We are repeatedly told that Gordon Brown´s housing targets are plucked out of the air. In fact they are based upon the Government´s household projections. Following them is much better than "let´s see what is the lowest level of housebuilding we can get away with" dressed up as a capacity led approach....
