To achieve our aims, sufficient land is required for at least two adult sports pitches, one would be a grass pitch and the other all weather, and a junior pitch. These pitches could also be shared by classes at the Marlborough School and by Marlborough AFC.  Indeed, our vision and Blenheim’s proposals for its land in Woodstock is supported by the School.

To meet Football Association and the Hellenic League Premier Division standards, the first team pitch would have to be floodlit and, if possible, the adjoining pitch as well.  However, the Club would only use these lights between 1st September and 31st May, an average of two nights a week (6.30pm to 10pm) and on Saturdays from 4pm to 6pm.  The Club has selected lights which would minimise light spillage into surrounding areas.
