Chelmsley Wood, a suburb of Birmingham, underwent a comprehensive town centre regeneration programme. The development includes a new anchor foodstore, non-food retail units, the relocation of existing council office space, a new library and probation centre, together with the refurbishment of existing malls, car parking, reconfiguration of the local road network, provision of a new bus interchange and improvements to pedestrian access.
